Food Allergen Management Online has grown out of a need to update the standard of best practices in the food outlet industry so people with allergies can easily identify and feel confident with establishments, products and services.

Some allergy sufferers don't eat out as it is difficult to communicate their needs, or, when they do eat out their needs are not met. Most outlets have systems in place for dietary requirements, they are commended.

There is an amazing cross section of food outlets across Australia accommodating dietary requirements with varying standards. The level of awareness of dietary needs range from almost no awareness to excellent best practices.
